SUNSET ON THE RETRIEVER GROUNDS – LIMITED EDITION

This Snoqualmie Valley Sunset features the Snoqualmie Valley Retriever Grounds where people use the 80 acres to train their hunting dogs.  The Retriever Grounds are located about 1 mile south of the Novelty Bridge between the Snoqualmie River on the east side of the property and West Snoqualmie Valley Road on the west side of the property.  This image was commissioned by the owners of the Retriever Grounds as they really one of my other Snoqualmie Valley panoramas, but their property was “just to the left” and out of frame.  I worked with the owners to try and get some shots of the property from some other locations, but nothing I was really happy with.  I asked if I could fly from their property, and they allowed me to that, and the result was this image.  The drone was at an altitude of approximately 400 ft above the river and approximately 1/4 mile from the property.  The Novelty Bridge can be seen in the distance, along with Mt Baker (way off in the distance.)  The image is looking roughly north, SR 203 is on the right side of the image and Duvall is in the distance on the right side of the image.  While the people who commissioned this work, purchased three prints, they are allowing me to sell two more prints to the public.  After those two prints are sold it will no longer be available as a metal print.
