THE REMARKABLES FROM CORONET PEAK

New Zealand never disappoints, especially during sunsets and sunrises.  This image features a set of mountains near Queenstown on the South Island of New Zealand know as “The Remarkables.”  The image was captured during sunrise part way up Coronet Peak.  You can see the Shotover River in the valley.  This image was captured during the fall season (April) in New Zealand, and the mountains had received their first dusting of snow the night before.  The Remarkables are famously featured in the opening for the Lord of the Rings movie, The Two Towers.  Queenstown is just to the left of the frame.

While the print is NOT part of a limited edition, all prints come signed and numbered by the photographer (typically on the back) and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
